Love love love
Add me to the long list of the Keoni-obsessed! He's amazing. He really is. Even my normally anti-group fitness, anti-peppy fiancé LOVED Keoni. I try really hard to get into one of his classes every week - he's worth it.
Positives: inspiring (his body is amazing, and his "story" makes you want to listen to him), FUN (super high energy, dances around, great poppy music), will.kick.your.arse (seriously - direct quote from fiancé who is a former Div 1 college athlete - "I have never been this sweaty in my life"), somehow makes the classes go fast (every time I was about to hit a wall and die, we switched it up to something fun, never felt "stuck" as you sometimes feel in BB classes), and he's nice. I want to hang out with him.
Negatives: it is so hard to get into his classes!
Class structure: he switches it up every class of course, but this particular class we did 3 runs/3 floor segments - the first run was fast running with sprints, second a crraaaaazy hill set, third a short 6 minute sprint session. The floor sections were "calisthenics" for one - i.e. mountain climbers, box jumps on the benches, pushups, etc. - then more weight-centric for the middle section, then busting it out with abs and planks in the last short section. Truly got the "total body" thing down!
Bottom line: I LOVE KEONI!
