I don't think I've ever left an SLT class with Natalie and been able to walk properly... I'm talking THAT kind of muscle fatigue.
So, true to the concept behind SLT in general, most movements are slooooow and targetted, but Natalie does an awesome job of adding little additions to each exercise. For instance, the inner thigh segment often has things like punches or shoulder presses added. Of course, the megaformer machine forces you to use your core for every single thing you do, but then when you have that kind of full body action, it really does something magical for abs (in addition to fatiguing your muscles that much quicker).
Besides the class itself, Natalie's great. She brings amazing energy to the class, often dancing around the room to her awesome playlists, and constantly motivating people (lots of individual callouts too- the best!). She also does a great job of mixing things up and adding new things from class to class.
Definitely a great class to at least try if not work into your routine on an ongoing basis. Proof that insane bodies can be made places other than on treadmills!
