survivor: they are not messing around.
after a few months of cycling, i had the realization that the survivor classes are the same price as the regular ones, so why not get more bang for my buck, right? this is how sweaty survivor sundays got worked into my weekly schedule. i would not recommend bringing a friend to this class for their first time, especially if they don't know danny's teaching style at all. he is a ball of energy, even at 9:30am, which is not for everyone. expect the music selection in this class to be a little less club-y than his famous evening dance parties. it's a little more trance-y, and will definitely get you in the zone, which you'll need because he will push you very very far out of your comfort zone. and then have you do a standing run on top of it. this class is honestly my favorite way to wake up on a sunday morning. i wouldn't change a thing. if you're a seasoned soulcycler, you probably won't even notice the extra 5 minutes, except in the arm series. danny's normal arms are hard, but the survivor version is 6+ minutes long. expect an intense bicep/shoulder burn. i would highly highly recommend adding this class into your rotation if you frequent soul and want to experience an only slightly more toned down version of the danny kopel you know and love.

PointsDanny is the best any time of day! He has the most original music and infectious energy. You just have to be speedy right at noon to grab a bike. He's in high demand!

Points^true that, but definitely show up if you're on the waitlist! or at least call the day before and ask. if they know you'll definitely be there if you get off the list, they might just be more likely to put you in the class! also, sunday mornings make for hungover 20somethings. there's always a few open bikes ;)
