Love love LOVE Danny!

Truth be told, up until about 2 months ago, the only way I was willing to pay for a SoulCycle class was if I was taking it with one specific famed instructor.  If I didn't get in to her class, I just wouldn't take SoulCycle that week - not very open minded of me!  I operated that way for a few years (seriously...).  Thanks to RYB, I slowly became interested in Danny's class - since the reviews made him out to be my kind of teacher (wild/weird/good music!).  As the universe would have it, Danny ended up subbing in the time slot I normally attend - and WOW I LOVED HIM RIGHT AWAY!

Danny has the most incredible positive energy.  I have taken 3 or 4 classes with him now, and am AMAZED at how fast the 45 or 60 minutes go by when he teaches.  I am so focused on smiling like an idiot while he gyrates up on the handle bars, squirts water around the room, flips his crazy blond hair back and forth, and of course - high kicks, that I am always totally surprised when it is suddenly time for arms (i.e. near the end of class for those who don't already go to SoulCycle).  Also - GREAT music.  Half of it I don't even recognize, but always a very strong beat which helps keep the spinning pack on the rhythm.  Feels like I'm dancing in a club that is way too cool for me :)

Danny really seems to love what he does - and it shows.  That motivates me to work that much harder. I yell more, smile more, and leave class drenched in sweat and in great spirits.  I also appreciate how smiley and kind he is when you leave class.  Some other instructors I find super intimidating - but he has a very welcoming demeanor.

I thought I would never love another spin instructor, but Danny clearly stole my heart.  As Danny asks repeatedly throughout class, "yes or no?!" I would suggested everyone say "YES!" to trying Danny's class - even if you struggle to break out of your old ways like I do.
