I love Uplift Studio and their classes are all awesome. Chelsea's Uplifting class was killer, in the best possible way. I do lots of strength training, barre work, running, etc., and I was very sore for the next three days. The class was intense. Lots of body-weight and dumbbell exercises, with cardio intervals breaking up each circuit.
The class was nice and small so that you didn't feel like you could slack off at all, and Chelsea was great at motivating us by keeping us very aware of where we were in each circuit. Everything seems doable when I'm only doing 15 more seconds or 5 more reps. She also has an awesome Australian accent, so everything she said was 10 times cooler. "Do 20 more squats with 12 lb weights in each hand? OF COURSE!"
There were 3 circuits consisting of 4 exercises (I think?) each, repeated twice each. Each circuit ended with a variation on plank to target the core and a cardio interval. Honestly couldn't come up with a single criticism -- Chelsea made me work extremely hard for 55 minutes and I can't wait to get back to her class.
